North Chungcheong Province, officially Chungcheongbuk-do (Korean pronunciation: [tɕʰuŋ.tɕʰʌŋ.buk̚.t͈o]), is a province in the centre of South Korea. It was formed in 1896 from the northeastern half of the former Chungcheong province. The provincial capital is Cheongju.
